Youth Service Fund Application

YSF is a fund intended to benefit United Methodist youth who want to be in mission in the church community but are limited by monetary resources. YSF does not completely fund projects, but does help offset total costs. Money from YSF is raised through the donations of many sources, including the annual fundraiser at the Conference Youth Event.

California-Nevada Annual Conference of The United Methodist Church

Grants are available up to $500.

To be eligible for a YSF grant a local United Methodist Church or organization must demonstrate the missional nature of their project. Past YSF grants have included start up monies for a local church youth outreach program and scholarships to attend camp or a Conference Youth Event.

The deadline for applications is March 1. 2000. The selection process will include a review of all applications by the Conference United Methodist Youth Council. Awarding of grants will be done on a proportional basis according to available YSF monies held by the Conference.

What other monies are you using to fund this project?

One of the ways Youth Service Fund money is raised is through local churches. After your project is over
would your church be able to raise money for YSF so that other worthy projects like your own can be funded?
